We have a flyer! EXTORTION ONE SEVEN Memorial Poker Run 03 August 2013

Here's the flyer for the EXTORTION ONE SEVEN Memorial Poker Run on 03 August 2013.  The poker run is being held to honor the Navy SEALs, EOD techs, Military Working Dog (MWD) team, aircrew and support personnel and Afghan partners that were killed in action August 6th 2011 in Afghanistan.

Ride begins at Sweetwater Harley-Davidson, travels some back roads in eastern San Diego county, crosses back down to Imperial Beach and ends at McPs in Coronado.  Lots of great prizes, meet and ride with members of the elite SEAL and EOD communities and your friends, and support two great charities.

Need to go-I'm pre-riding the route today!

Update: 7/31/13-Ride is 3 days away!  Are you getting excited?  I know I am, and we are expecting so many people we had to change the ending location from McPs back to Sweetwater Harley.  While McPs was great to us, and we're still thinking of ways to involve them this year and likely as a card stop in the future, we would have overwhelmed their parking and back patio.  If you frequent McPs thank him and his crew for their service in the SEALs and other military units, and their offer to support us!

The FB event page has 90 plus people/groups attending, and many more informal maybe's or verbal commitments.

How not to build an online following

Yep, resurrecting this blog from the dead once again!  One post every six months isn't going to accomplish anything.  I could use being busy as an excuse, cause I have been.  Family, working, traveling, getting the Connie running again and putting some miles on it checking everything out and enjoying it, helping start, organize and conduct two poker runs (well one isn't until August 3rd, more on that in a later post), and just life in general.

But a friend asked how to shop from BikeBandit, so I came online to check tonight and ensure everything works.  Thanks, Ed, and here's a new post just for you.  So when I need help wrestling a shaft drive motorcycles rear wheel off for the next tire change or doing other motorcycle maintenance....
