We interrupt this thread....

It's time for some flat out promotion.  Just like TV stations, radio, and even the interwebs have to pay their bills, its time for some ads.  Well, I could justify this post by commenting that once you buy your first motorcycle, you are going to need safety/riding gear, accessories, and maintenance parts and supplies!  So here goes:

Cycle Gear is a nationwide chain of accessories and parts stores.  I don't know how many stores there are, but "lots" works for now.  Many host Bike Nights-the two local ones do which are good events with food, vendors, sales, sometimes bike games, and door prizes.  I'm not a marketing affiliate with Cycle Gear in any way-just a long-time shopper and they let CMA put up booths at many bike nights, which I appreciate.  Right now, Cycle Gear is running a sale where they will pay the sales tax on "Over 2000 Awesome Products" (from the e-mail they sent, and in my best big radio voice!).  The sale is online only, so head over to the Cycle Gear website if interested.

Also, I am an affiliate marketer for BikeBandit, as you could likely guess from the links with Bandit on the page.  Yep, I do get a commission if you click through and make a purchase.  I have no problem posting a link for them, as I have bought many parts from BikeBandit, find their pricing competitive and service great!  Whether it is the online chat to find the right part (helpfully for new mechanics!), illustrated parts breakdowns on the site, quick shipping or even fair and equitable return policy, I have not had a bad experience with BikeBandit.  They are currently running a big sale on tires, and free shipping on orders over $99.  Click the link and check BikeBandit out!

BTW there is a Kawasaki Vulcan for sale down the street, may slow down and actually look at it.  Might be a good candidate for a "How to check out your first motorcycle" post....
