OK so this post won't apply to anyone other than Kawasaki Concours C10 owners doing motorcycle maintenance or custom work, but I need to save this link for future use, so there is nowhere better to put it than on my blog. Here's a list of part numbers-both Kawasaki and after-market-from the good folks at COG:

How to: Key motorcycle maintenance item-clean or rebuild motorcycle carburetors
While I got personal instruction from a friend when we had to do this to get my Kawasaki Concours back on the road, this is a good basic article on cleaning out or rebuilding motorcycle carburetors. Don't be too intimidated by this essential motorcycle maintenance item, it's really not that bad if you assemble all the parts and tools you need beforehand, go slow, and check everything before re-assembly and wrestling those carbs bank into place!

Definitely not "Iron Butt" worthy today
Evening my one or two live readers and all you web crawlers out there looking for motorcycle maintenance blogs or news on custom Harley Davidsons.
All I have to say tonight is too many "honey-do's" and other chores to do much riding today. I think I rode 2.75 miles for a grocery store run total. And all the chores? Not a single one was working on a motorcycle!
Maybe next Saturday... .
